Photo Hunt Old-Fashioned (1)

Posted in Photo Hunt

Saturday Photo Hunt Old-Fashioned … My daughter she’s wearing an old-fashioned first communion dress. She’s seven years on this picture (she’s 13 now) and the dress she was wearing is 65 years old count today it makes 71 year old, my mother-in-law still kept it. The dress have been pass so many kids, grand kids already and we are lucky enough that Julie able to wear this beautiful dress. The dress was sewn by my husband’s Aunt Effie Ehradt who was a seamstress of a movie star long time ago. Her parents owned a clothing company in Chicago.

That dress has quite a history. I hope it’s passed down to a few more generations! I had my first communion in the 70′s and if I remember right my dress was of a similar style. LOL

Thanks for your visit. I’ll have photos up on two more of my blogs shortly!
