A Social Network for Golfers
Posted in golf course, rvmGolf is one of my least sports to watch but its time I watch the game I wonder those player if they’re having fun. Oh I’m sure, that’s why they play right? Silly me, don’t get me wrong I surely have a respect for people who have the ability and patience to play golf.
Anyway, I found this pretty neat site for all the golfers out there the Stracka.com; it is A Social Network for Golfers. This site has the tool that allows golfers to view any course you desire. You really loved the site, their front page showed and aerial view of the PGA National Golf Club, you can even zoom in and get the view of the course you want. At Stracka.com you can view a free online yardage book, post your scores, maintain your handicap, look at greens guides, and even talk with your fellow golfers.
Best of all, the yardage maps is viewable with Google Earth and Google Maps, how cool is that. When searching for a golf course in the Stracka.com Golf Course Directory, a golf course that includes a yardage map indicated with the Google Earth logo.
