Education online resources

As a professional educator, I have been amazed at the amount of useful lesson plans and educational resources that are found online. As a young teacher, I am always looking for effective and engaging activities and lessons for my students. Over the last couple of years I have been exposed to countless websites that deal with education and Social Studies in particular. I often will use educational websites to help plan my lessons at school. My husband and I have satellite internet through http://www.satelliteinternetbroadband.com/hughesnet/Minnesota/B/Brooklyn-Center/ due to where we live, and I am constantly looking up instructional websites even in the summer as I plan for the fall. When I think back to the way I was taught in school compared to varied strategies used in today’s classroom, I am blown away. I have access to many more materials and resources than those teachers who taught me. I love teaching and truly feel that I am making a positive impact on the lives of young people. I believe that teachers are some of the most important members of our society, and I want to create lessons that will engage my students.
