To Send or Not to Send?

Posted in 2012 MOI

I am thinking of sending important documents and letters to a friend in another state. But I am hesitant because it may be damaged and acquiring these documents really takes time and whole lot of effort. But she is insisting on me sending these to her, and she suggested that I use tyvek envelopes. She said that these are envelopes are considered high-class because they are water resistant. Now that is really something don’t you think? Well I have not made up my mind yet. But I will think consider the idea and if I would agree, I would surely ...

Leather Couch

Posted in 2012 MOI

Having a leather couch means you can sit there comfortably better than the synthetic leather couches. It also means you spent more money on it too. Why would you not if you have the money anyway since it is also more durable so it is less likely that it will add to the pile of garbage sooner than later. Actually, if the worksmanship of the furniture crafter is real good, with wood and spring assembly durable to last a lifetime, your couch will last too. Buying Online

Posted in 2012 MOI

It used to be that when you buy something you have to go out of your comfort zone and go to the store, look around, and when you have chosen, you buy and pay with money or even credit card. Going Back to Work?

Posted in 2012 MOI

I have been blogging about the opportunities open for me to work. Am I ready to go back to the corporate world? To leave it to be a stay at home mom was a major decision—to go back to it would be the same. I have second thoughts about this offer because I am afraid that I might be too caught up with office work, travels and meetings I won’t have quality time with the family. But what if this is really the job I have been wanting all this time? It is one job that is quite far from what ...

Caring For The Aged

Posted in 2012 MOI

If old age is a blessing how come there are some who are left on their own without help? After doing everything for the children and grandchildren, some forget that some people are getting old and getting frail and weak. Walking is difficult as well as bathing on their own. The bed gets wet over night and eating gets difficult too. In essence it looks like that the aged people are going back to being like babies again. After all the care that has been given to their children, is it not just right and fair that care be given ...

Divorcing

Posted in 2012 Blvts

Content by Sol Rosales My husband and I are in the middle of a divorce, and things have been difficult. I feel lucky that we are splitting amicably, because it makes things so much easier. I can’t imagine what an acrimonious divorce must be like. I don’t think I would be able to handle the stress. My husband and I are trying hard to be nice to each other, and realize that we just aren’t happy anymore, and that is why we have to go our separate ways. We are still committed to raising our children together, and they have been ...

Protecting The Hands That Feed

Posted in 2012 MOI

Food is one of human's greatest need in the world, more important than clothing and shelter. One needs to work in order to be fed. In a family, it is usually the father who works for a living so he can feed his family. In modern times it has been accepted as mothers helping in finding the source of food and certain families change roles, yet certain jobs are fit for men alone. Jobs that has to do with construction, welding and other manual labor that require one's hands protected with, say, tillman gloves, will make one's possibility to continue ...
